Welcome to The Salt and Light Programme

Over the past few years, we've had the privilege to meet so many young people around the diocese who are really keen on developing their own faith, and helping to develop the faith of others in their parishes, schools and neighbourhoods...

So much so, that we've managed to set up a scheme to work with a small group of 15 to 18 year olds, helping them to get more involved in stuff going on in their localities, with a view to learning new skills and deepening their understanding of faith, culture and serving young people...

So as another year of Salt and Light nears its end we excitedly look forward to a new group of extraordinary young people willing to be part of the Salt and Light team 08-09.

As always we will be kicking off the year with a weekend away together in November, looking at practical skills that may be required for the successful completion of the projects.

The team will once again be asked to show off their leadership qualities at Lumos in January and July.
