When we were thinking of a name for our new website, newsletter and facebook presence, we were drawn towards the prophet Micah, who can be found in the book of the same name in the Old Testament.

Essentially, Micah was a poor, rural prophet who spoke out against injustice and hypocrisy while Israel was going through a difficult time... We felt that sometimes it falls to us as young people to stand up for what we believe to be right - that hypocrisy isn't what life is about, and instead we need to promote other ways of living...

In short, Micah states that there are 3 key things to following God in a difficult time (Micah 6:8)
- to act with justice
- to love with tenderness
- to walk in humility

It's our hope that as we explore a little bit about what it means to be a follower of God as young people in the 21st century, we might hold these three keys to the doors of the future.
